At least this week, it seems to. I woke up thinking "Ooo yay it's friday!" then i missed the bus, had to take the other bus and run for the train, the store where I usually stop for coffee before catching my next bus was... closed. And someone had taken my usual spot on the bus.
Well I made it to work in one piece and didn't forget anything on the bus. Yay. Then I walk on to the floor, and my team leader says to me "so, um.... today is my last day, probably." Well. this is terrible news. The only thing (well, other than money) keeping me from walking out fo that place in the past 8 months was that TL and the fact that he rocks... and knows what the heck he's doing.
I think ok, well today will be nice and slow, since it's friday, I'll have some time to relax and proccess the news... wrong. it was as busy as a monday.
I had recently had another job opportunity come up, and had turned it down due to its temporary nature. I decided that due to the new development at work, I would take the new job after all. But it is no longer available. sigh.
And now today (which is Saturday) my plans allll got cancelled due to circumstances beyond anyone's control. Ugh. Here's hoping this monday does not last until Monday.
