Actually, this is about his offspring... Presenting Katherine "Katie" Anne, my adorable niece, born January 5th at 10:39, weighing 2.725kg (6lbs 1oz). She was 48cm long (18-7/8in) and 31cm around the head (12-1/4in). Look at her crazy hair! She looks just like her Auntie's Convergys ID photo-- minus the funky colours.
We are all very excited to welcome Katie into our family. She is doing fairly well, although she has not gone home yet from the hospital. Her eating and breathing are improving steadily, but she still needs a bit of help, what with her premature arrival. It seems she was as eager to meet the world as we were to meet her!
I don't actually get to see her in person until this summer, probably, when we have a family reunion on my Mom's side. The proud grandparents -- my mom and dad -- are rushing off to Burnaby on Friday (and proud they are, nearly bursting with it. My mom bought so many things for the baby, they take up an entire suitcase all on their own. It's really quite funny to hear her gush over it, she's worse than I am).
